Unique Selling Proposition Examples – Your Personal Path To Prosperity

Personal Unique Selling Proposition Examples - Your Path To Prosperity

Not getting results with your content marketing efforts? No one responding to your ads or blog/video content? Here are some personal unique selling proposition examples, which may reveal why you’re not yet seeing the success you deserve in your business…

“What is happening? How are you doing? Good morning, of course. In the new Range Rover, on the way to Internet Profits HQ on this fine morning.

Busy day of coaching today. I’ve actually started a new 12 month, year long coaching. I only opened it up to a small number of people just recently.

The way in which that program begins is that I have a 30 minute session with each individual, as a part of the group. So they have 30 minutes one-on-one time with me on the webinar.

And everyone else is welcome to listen in if they want to, whilst I find out more about where that person’s at. What they’re currently doing and any sticking points right now. And give them immediate implementable advice.

This Is Applicable For Blog, Video, Social Media Content And Also For Advertising Content
This Is Applicable For Blog, Video, Social Media Content And Also For Advertising Content

That started yesterday. And today’s the second day of that. We’ll round everybody up today in that.

#1 Problem When Starting Content Marketing For Beginners

I want to share with you something that came out multiple times yesterday, in speaking with different people about where they’re at in their business. This is in relation to the content they create and how they create it.

Now this is applicable whether it’s content that you’re just producing, say, for your blog, or for a YouTube channel, or for social media. This is likewise applicable if you’re creating content for advertising. Like, paid ads on Facebook and other platforms. And I want you to think about this as well.

You see, a very common issue many people face is feeling like they don’t have a lot of uniqueness or value to give, that could exceed or be more valuable to the marketplace than other people.

And this especially happens – and I know this happened to me a long time ago – when you’re in the early stages of your business. It is a common theme or feeling for you to think, “Well I’m not really getting anywhere right now. I don’t have any results to speak of just yet. So why would anyone listen to me?”

"I'm Not Getting Results, So Why Would Anyone Listen To Me?"
“I’m Not Getting Results, So Why Would Anyone Listen To Me?”

Y’know, because there are others online – there are many people who are now getting great results. And when you are not yet there, and you compare yourself to others who are getting results… You can almost put yourself into a ‘shell’ and feel like, “I’m not getting results. So why would anyone listen to me? What could I possibly say that would be worth anyone listening to?”

And so, because of that feeling, you end up not actually producing anything. Not pushing yourself to make that first video, to place that paid ad, or to just put yourself out there online – because of those feelings and fears.

Unique Selling Proposition Examples From Clients

When I was speaking to multiple people yesterday, who are in the earlier stages, the same thing kept coming out. I was always able to identify an area for them that is their uniqueness, and their entry point for their messaging to start conveying… I’ll give you a couple of these unique selling proposition examples…

There was one lady I spoke with yesterday who is currently in a full time job, like most people are. Probably everyone pretty much is that’s starting a business. Most people are in a job or are retired.

Getting On Video Can Build A Connection With People, But Doesn't Mean You Have To
Getting On Video Can Build A Connection With People, But Doesn’t Mean You Have To

But this lady was in a job, in a particular employment position whereby she felt she was unable at this stage to get herself on video, actually on camera. Because that would then mean she would have to notify her employer, and that may not be a good idea at this stage.

So she saw that potentially as a negative: “Well, I can’t get on video. So is that going to be a drawback? Because everyone tells me you have to get on video because that’s how you build trust.”

And yeah, although there’s aspects to that which are correct. Y’know, getting on video can build a connection and let people see you and know you’re real. But that doesn’t mean you have to.

So actually, we were able to spin that unique selling proposition example in a way that made her uniqueness.

How To Spin A Personal Unique Selling Proposition

For example, I said “Well, rather than hide from that and not discuss it, and just be this person that seemingly isn’t showing themselves, putting that potential opportunity of doubt into the viewers and marketplace…”

All Of A Sudden, A Negative Becomes A Positive
All Of A Sudden, A Negative Becomes A Positive

And have them say, “Why does she never show herself? What has she got to hide?” Instead, actually take it on, and say…

“Look, I’m building my business in a position where I’m still employed full time. I’m in a certain type of job, and if I were to get on camera it may cause me issues with my employment. And I’m not yet at the stage where I’m able to leave that job to run my business full time. And so I have to build a business without getting on camera and doing a lot of the conventional stuff that everyone tells us that we need to do.”

You see, now all of a sudden a negative becomes a positive. And I’ll give you one more unique selling proposition example…

Drive More Traffic To Your Website: Start Using This Strategy

Drive More Traffic To Your Website: Start Using This Strategy

When you want to drive more traffic to your website, are you following a tried and tested strategy? Starting from scratch to drive traffic to your website can a daunting and expensive (in time and/or money) challenge. Dean Holland reveals his best website traffic strategy tips here…

“Good morning my friend, it is Dean here, and welcome to today’s Drive. Now as you can see, definitely not in the car today. I am here at Dean Holland HQ, not Internet Profits HQ, here in my back yard.

Now I want to talk to you about website traffic this morning. Y’know it’s one of those subjects that everyone’s like, “Oh, if only I could get more traffic to my website, I would be rich and all my problems would be solved.”

Today we’re not gonna get into all that. But let it be known that there are certain things you must have in place before you can even think about how to drive more traffic to your website.

I’m talking about having a high converting sales process, and a solid and consistent way to capture your traffic onto your list and follow up with them. But anyway we’re not going to talk about those areas today.

My Free Book Explains All This In Much More Detail
My Free Book Explains All This In Much More Detail…

By the way, if you want to learn more about all of that, then right now you can grab a free copy of my book “The Iceberg Effect” if you just cover the shipping. And it goes into all of this in much detail, for affiliate marketers.

But today I want to talk about website traffic, okay. There’s a saying…

“All Traffic Is Not Created Equal”

And it’s absolutely true. There is a reason that some people try, for example, email buys (aka solo ads) and they don’t get sales. There’s a reason some people try Facebook Ads and they don’t get sales. And there’s a reason people do banner ads and don’t get sales.

There are many people who do many kinds and forms of website traffic generation. And some people make it work, and some people don’t.

Now does that mean that those traffic sources don’t work? Y’know, if I had a dollar for every time I’ve read or heard somebody say, “Oh, Facebook Ads don’t work!” It’s absolutely ridiculous.

These platforms work. All advertising strategies, in this sense, work. It’s normally people’s follow-up that is lacking. But anyway, today’s not about that.

So I want to talk about the fact of, like, when it comes down to how to drive traffic to your website… How do you actually get started? How do you actually get things going?

Set A Goal Of How Many Visitors To Your Website You're Aiming To Get Each Day
Set A Goal Of How Many Visitors To Your Website You’re Aiming To Get Each Day

You see, when you’re first getting started, I truly believe that you should set yourself a goal of how many visitors, how many clicks to your website you’re aiming to get each and every single day.

For example, you might say, “Right, my daily target is to get at least (I don’t know) 20, 30, 40, 50 people a day.” Don’t go too crazy too soon, because you’re gonna set yourself up for disappointment if you don’t achieve it.

So maybe you say, “Right, my goal is to start getting 10 clicks a day on to my website, or through my affiliate link.” Now when you’re achieving that, then you start upping it, right? Now I’m aiming for 20, I’m getting 10 visitors, now I’m going for 20.

Because to be honest, just posting on social media alone, having a strategy like social media posting, posting on Twitter or Facebook – you could probably easily start getting ten people a day clicking your links.

Start Using This Strategy And Drive More Traffic To Your Website

So I think setting yourself a goal like 20 or 30 clicks or visitors a day to your website, would be something that I’d be looking to do. And then you need to be really be going out there and working your strategy, whatever that might be might be, every single day, okay?

The Biggest Problem People Have Is They Don't Stick At Stuff Long Enough
The Biggest Problem People Have Is They Don’t Stick At Stuff Long Enough

Whether you’re doing Facebook advertising, whether you’re doing any kind of paid ads. Or “free” – like time-invested methods right? Set yourself a goal of what you’re doing, okay?

And just keep at it every day, and say, “Right how many did I get yesterday? I only got 16. So today I need to either do more of that, because I was getting some clicks. Or I need to figure out if there’s something better I can be doing that would work more effectively.”

But stick at it. The biggest problem people have is they don’t stick at stuff long enough.

Take me for example. Recently I started from scratch…

How To Grow Your Business With Social Media Using Your Own Leverage

Grow Your Business With Social Media
Here are Dean’s tips and examples of how you can use your own personal leverage to grow your business with social media online, the easy way…
How To Make Your Business Grow“Okay, leverage, leverage, leverage! One of the fastest ways to shortcut and speed up the growth of your business and your success.
Good morning! Welcome to another episode of The Drive.
Today… y’know, what I’ve been thinking about this morning… A lot of people always ask questions like…
What is the biggest shortcut to success? What is the thing that gets people to succeed?
The majority of people in the home business industry are struggling – as in, can’t figure things out, can’t make things work. And y’know, there’s a lot of people that obviously get a few sales, earn a few commissions, and then nothing really continues to happen.
Then there’s a lot of people that can’t even make those first few commissions. And I was exactly the same, back when I first started in 2004. I didn’t make my first commission until 2008 – which is…

Pretty Insane When You Think About It, Right?

Like, to be trying to build a business or make money online for four years, before you actually make money online! And the crazy thing is, usually by that stage… (certainly was true for me) is you’ve spent so much, that it can almost be too difficult to see your way out and into profit.
Dean Holland The Drive Episode 127
So I was thinking about this, this morning. I was thinking, “Y’know, what is the answer to that question?” “What is the quickest way?”
Or, “What is one of the things that can dramatically help and accelerate you, from zero to results?”
And even when you’re getting some results, “What is the thing that can take you from some results, to lots of results, or bigger results?”
The answer is actually the same, in many respects. And that is “leverage.”
I’ve spoken about this with our clients and Certified Partners so many times, because it never changes: Leverage. Why is it that you see some people…

Do Facebook Ads Work? Be Extra Careful Who You Listen To

I literally saw probably one of the most stupid comments (on the subject of do Facebook ads work?)… And it was backed up with the most idiotic responses as well, yesterday, on Facebook. I’ve got to talk about this today.
Good morning, welcome to another episode of The Drive.
I just came out of the store, picking up some orange juice, and this lady comes in with a young kid.

And Y’know, It Was Awesome!

Do Facebook Ads Work? - Dean HollandI was behind her waiting to pay for the orange juice, and she was so upbeat with the guy in the store. She was like, “Hey Bobby!” (I assume that’s his name otherwise she was just making it up.)
She was like, “How are you?” “Have a great day!” And then she left, and I was like y’know – not many people are that happy in the morning. That is awesome!
However… So yesterday, I literally saw…

One Of The Most Stupid And Idiotic Statements

…damaging, potentially damaging statements, for people to read on social media, on Facebook yesterday.
And rather ridiculously and unfortunately, it was also backed up by a whole bunch of other people commenting – agreeing with the statement!
So I’ve got to talk about that, this morning.
The statement was, “Paid advertising on Facebook does not work. I’ve tried everything and it just doesn’t work. So don’t waste your money.”

And I Was Like… “What!?”

You’re literally making a statement in a place, in a social environment, where your words can impact others beliefs, and feelings, and thoughts… And you’re making a statement that’s not just untrue, but complete nonsense…!

Get 1000 YouTube Subscribers And Make Money For Free In Your Videos

I have some exciting news to share!

So, if you’re following this, or you have been following previous episodes of The Drive, you’ll know that every day I’ve got this filming rig set up in my car. And every day on the way to the Internet Profits headquarters here in the UK, I talk about and document what it is that’s going on in the business, how things are going, and share the lessons that I’m learning along the way.

Well this week we crossed a mile stone when we finally managed to…

Get 1000 YouTube Subscribers

…on our channel. And I want to share some of the things that I’ve learned, and some of the things that we’ve done and tried, that I feel has helped to get 1000 YouTube subscribers. And how we’re now hoping to really start to accelerate that at an even faster pace.

So let me just be clear on a few things. This didn’t happen overnight – this wasn’t an immediate thing. And to be honest, until about 10 days ago we weren’t really doing anything to try and encourage subscriptions on the YouTube channel, encourage people to subscribe.

So I’ll share with you…

What We Did Over The Last 10 Days To Really Accelerate That…

…and fill you in on some of the data and statistics.

So, first things first. You should know that we have now done over 70 episodes. So this one right now is probably I think, episode 72 (but don’t quote me on that, I might be one or two out.)

But we’ve crossed over 70 episodes. Now bear in mind I do these every weekday, Monday to Friday. So I do five episodes a week.

The only reason, for me at least, that I’m able to keep that consistency is because…

I’ve Engineered This ‘Way’…

…where I can create the content without actually having to really go out of my way to do it.

I’m driving to the office anyway, and I’m always planning in my own head what’s going on, or what’s happening. So all I’m really doing is talking to myself here. And you get to kind of be like a fly on the window, if you like.

We’ve done over 70 episodes, right? That equates to Monday to Friday, 70 episodes, what’s that? Like 14, 15 weeks of doing The Drive series.

So it’s taken 14 weeks to reach this point. You could say, “Wow! That’s a long time!” But really…

How To Get More Followers And Buyers From Any Social Media Platform

Would you like to know how to get more followers on social media platforms and turn them into buying customers? Here are some great free tips from my business mentor, Dean Holland:

This weekend I was thinking about something. It followed on from something I was saying to some customers and students of ours on one of our programs last week.

And that is to think about;

“Are You Making It Easy & Simple For People To Find And Follow You?”

So let me explain what I mean.

If I think back to when I first got started online, when I first discovered that people were making money on the internet. It was actually in 2004.

But I didn’t make any money or really experienced any progress or anything really until the end of 2008.

So you may wonder what was happening during that time? Well, I was buying lots and lots of products, y’know.

I’d buy ebooks, video courses, software plugins, loads and loads of different stuff.

But when I think back on it…

I Didn’t Actually Have Anything Substantial Or Tangible Online

There was no presence. There was nothing really.

  • I didn’t have a blog, like I have now.
  • I didn’t have a YouTube channel, like I have now.
  • I didn’t have a Facebook page, like I have now.
  • I didn’t have any active social media presence.

So when you think about the way in which the Internet and the world as a whole has evolved into the current day. It’s in a position where it is a very social environment.

You only have to look over the last decade – the massive advances and the uprising of social media platforms.

They Have Now Taken Over The Internet

Billions and billions of people across the world are using social media platforms actively.

Even if you think about television… Reality TV, ‘social television’, has taken the world by storm.

You have talent shows, you have things like Big Brother where they take members of the public and put them in a house and surround them with cameras for weeks on end.

And people people sit there fascinated just watching people live in a house!

It’s The Same For Your Business

People like to follow people.

Think about your own habits online. Do you follow other people?...

Are You Guilty Of Being Too Generic With Your Marketing?

So we’ve been finishing some things off, based on some early testing that we saw when we were driving traffic with Facebook Ads over the last week or so.

Here’s one of the things that I’ve realised with some of the tests and some of the things that we’ve been doing, that you can think about with your marketing and with whatever it is that you’re putting out in your business.

You need to look at – with your messaging, with your marketing, with your content, with whatever it is, whatever media you’re putting out – are you speaking to somebody specifically or a specific group of people? Or…

Are You Being Too Generic And Speaking To Nobody At All?

The way I would probably get you to think about that is, let’s just say, like me, you’ve got an English bulldog – a specific breed of dog.

If you were wanting to learn about that specific breed of dog, who would you listen to?

Would you listen to somebody that claimed to be an expert about dogs? Or would you listen to somebody who claimed to be an expert about English bulldogs?

You’d go to the specific expert for something more specific to what you were interested in, right? That specific breed of dog.

One of things that you always have to remind yourself is, you need to…

Figure Out Who It Is You’re Wanting To Speak To

..who is it that you want to actually attract in your business.

It’s one thing to say, “Well, I help people that have an online business”. Okay well, is there a specific type of business that you’d like to help somebody in. Or is there a specific type of business model that you prefer, or have a better understanding or expertise on?

The reason I say this to you is because, what’s apparent with our new front end product, “The Perfect Offer” training program, is that ultimately it is something that could undoubtedly help many different types of businesses...

Filming Facebook Ads Setup Live And Testing To Scale Up

We’re doing internal testing and optimization this week and continuing next week, for a current offer, brand new offer that nobody’s seen yet called “The Perfect Offer“. Which is a training that goes out on on a 4Gb USB stick – it goes out in the mail.

In fact one of things I’m doing today, once we’ve done filming this morning, this afternoon what I’ll be doing is…

Setting Up Some Facebook Ads

So if you saw my earlier post, you’ll have heard me talking about how I was trying to decide which path to go with our traffic strategy. Meaning, would I do email buy traffic / solo ad traffic first, or Facebook Ads first, or both, or what would I do?

And I was leaning initially towards solo ads. But I’m actually going to get on and do both. The reason being is, I’m just not a hundred percent convinced that solo ad traffic is the best for this offer because of how it’s currently set up. But because of that, one of the things I did the other day, and one of the things we started looking at, was…

A Survey Squeeze Page

So we can drive different types of traffic, I believe, more successfully to a survey page. Then segment them based on the responses they give. So solo ad traffic took a bit of a backseat just for a couple of days while we get that set up. And as I say, this afternoon I’m going to do some Facebook Ads setup – set up some ads, so we can start those running.

One of the cool things that I’ll be doing today for our Certified Partners; while setting up my Facebook Ad, I’m basically just going to hit record and live-stream the entire process from start to finish. So I’m not editing, it’s not producing a training, or a product for the public.

But one of the cool things for our Certified Partners, is really getting to see what we do and how we do it, to drive traffic, so that they can…
